There are six affiliated national associations and five recognised leagues. The Scottish FA is a member of UEFA and FIFA and holds a position on the International Football Association Board (IFAB), the body that determines the Laws of the Game. The Scottish FA exists to promote, foster and develop the game at all levels in this country. Founded in 1873, Scottish football’s governing body has recently undergone the most radical changes in its history, enabling us to lead the game into a new era. The launch of our strategic plan Scotland United: A 2020 Vision outlines the ambition, values and goals that underpin the organisation and its many facets.

United Soccer Coaches has grown from its humble beginnings in 1941 from 80 members to over 30,000 strong. Our Coaches touch the game of soccer at every level and work with both genders makes United Soccer Coaches unique on the American sporting landscape. The intial goals of the organization, set in 1941, still define its purpose in its seventh decade. These goals are to promote the game of soccer, generate greater publicity for the sport, and to improve teaching of the game through soccer clinics as well as research and evaluation of coaching of the sport. From these initial goals, United Soccer Coaches has developed programs that establish it as a leader on the soccer landscape. Its coaching education program is considered among the finest in the world, and is one we are proud and excited to offer through our partnership.

generation adidas international was really hatched over 30 years ago when, at the age of fifteen, Billy Hartman was one of a few American soccer players to have the unique opportunity to train at an English Premier League professional youth academy. Training during the summer of 1980 at Aston Villa FC Academy was a defining moment in not only his development as a soccer player, but also his growth as a person. That summer was truly an experience of a lifetime and the true catalyst to what is now the “adidas International Training Program”. At that time, he knew that with the partnership and commitment of adidas America to grassroots soccer we could become a leader in the world of international youth development. A decade later, that original vision has proven to be true – there is an insatiable desire in the players, coaches and parents of America to expose their children to the best that our sport has to offer and who share our passion for the beautiful game. Generation adidas international is a soccer company run by soccer people. Advised by some of the world’s top academy directors, our expertise in soccer and travel logistics will ensure a smooth trip. The quality and credentialing standards we maintain provide parents, playres and coaches with the necessary assurances that they will be safe and well cared for while overseas. We are proud and excited that you have chosen us and our hope is that every player, coach, and parent that participates in one of our unique trips will have the same positive, life-changing experience.
